Bondage run 2004 - Ten-I-See

Another great trip - nothing could be finer........ Congrats to the winners - yes...Joel is...the horseshoe champion of the new river. Shout out to Capt'n Frank - way to keep'um funneled.

2004 - The rainy year

25 hearty souls turned out for the 8th annual "bondage run". 2 solid days on the New helped to replenish the soul. Thursday was a great day with plenty of sun and setup. Friday brought clouds and some rain during the day for the "short run" from New River Outfitters. Friday night was a gas - thanks to Capt'n Frank who filled up on the funnel. Friday night brought rain and more rain. Saturday was cloudy (especially for some) but no rain. 5 groups made the long run to Cox's Chapel - over the dam, the class III's were great. It wouldn't be a trip without talkin' bout' the shoes............who would have thunk that Joel "dirty shoe" Carpenter took the title with a resounding pair of Ten-I-Sees. Congrats to the winners - it was a hell of a tourney. Thanks to Twin Rivers Campground for another year of hosting. And to 'Big Mama' don't take it personal.
